Scope of Work
The selected contractor will be responsible for the comprehensive fabrication, graphics production, delivery, and installation of all exhibit components. Key deliverables include:
- Generating detailed shop and engineering drawings.
- Conducting site visits for measurements and installation.
- Providing light track services for exhibit components and ambient lighting.
- Project management, ensuring adherence to museum quality standards.
- Compliance with structural engineering and electrical requirements, including UL listed equipment.
- Production and installation of graphics based on provided electronic files.
- Delivery of materials and samples for approval.
- Installation of carpet tile flooring and development of an Operations Manual.
Detailed design specifications are provided in Attachments J-1 (Spatial/3D Design), J-2 (Graphic Schedule), and J-3 (Graphic Design Elements, Typography, Color Palette). Attachment J-4 specifies brand-name or equivalent salient characteristics for certain items, and J-5 outlines AOC Design Standards.
