• Delivery Schedule: All awarded items are expected by July 31, 2026. Vendors MUST coordinate delivery amounts and dates with the Food Service Warehouse due to limited storage. • Delivery Requirements:
  • Appointments must be made timely.
  • Pallets must be accessible with a pallet jack; BOP staff will not unload trailers.
  • All deliveries must be palletized unless prior arrangements are made.
  • DO NOT send side-loaded freight as FCI Otisville cannot unload them.
  • Items out-of-date (best by, use by, expiration) will be refused.
  • Non-frozen perishables must be delivered between 34°F and 41°F.
  • Canned goods must be delivered above 34°F and not frozen.
  • Frozen foods must be delivered at 0°F or below and are subject to inspection upon thawing.
  • Any product showing signs of prior thawing will be refused.
  • Certified religious diet items (Kosher, Halal) must be marked with the appropriate symbol or will be refused.
• Compliance: All items must comply with BOP National Menu Specifications. Vendors must obtain these specifications prior to quoting. Items will be closely inspected, and receipt may be conditional for up to three (3) days for examination and testing.
• Failure to Comply: Items failing to meet specifications will be refused. Unacceptable items must be picked up by the vendor at their expense within one week of notification; otherwise, they will be disposed of by warehouse staff.
