Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To restore the existing wastewater aerator drive assembly serving the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Oxford's wastewater treatment system.

• Furnish all parts, labor, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to restore the existing aerator motor, gear drive, and bearing assemblies.

• Repair and installation services for the existing aeration equipment (Manufacturer: Magna Rotor, Model: 14" JG Magna Rotor 13, Serial Number: 03115 or approved equal).

• Motor Replacement: Replace existing 25 HP aerator motor, verifying suitability for continuous-duty wastewater aeration service and matching existing motor requirements.

• Bearing Repair and Service: Replace damaged or worn bearings, repack and lubricate per manufacturer specifications, and verify proper seating and load handling.

• Gear Drive Repair: Inspect gear oil, replace worn components, seals, and gaskets, refill with recommended lubricant, and verify gear mesh alignment and torque transmission.

• Removal and Reinstallation: Disconnect and remove components, perform precision alignment of motor-to-gear coupling, and secure all components with manufacturer torque requirements. All lockout/tagout procedures must be followed.

• Work scheduled to minimize disruption to the wastewater treatment process.

• Startup testing of the aerator assembly, verification of motor rotation, vibration levels, bearing temperature, and aerator basin mix/aeration performance. All deficiencies must be corrected prior to final acceptance.

• Installers/technicians must be qualified and certified by the manufacturer. Certification must be submitted in writing to the COR seven (7) days before the project starts.

• Adherence to seismic zone requirements, environmental compliance, Life Safety, NFPA, ADA-ABA, and Federal, State, and Local codes and regulations.

• Services and materials must adhere to current industry standards, Underwriters Laboratories (UL), and the National Electric Code (NEC).

• Work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM, excluding weekends and federal holidays. Any deviation requires prior written approval and scheduling at least five (5) working days in advance.

• Location: FCI Oxford, Wisconsin.

• Submittals: Information for background investigation, product data, installation instructions, project reference list, and closeout documentation (O&M manuals, warranty, redline drawings, testing reports, etc.).

• Warranty: Standard manufacturer warranty upon completion, plus a 1-year warranty on workmanship.

• Utilities: FBOP provides water, restrooms, and minimal electricity (120V). Contractor provides all other equipment, supplies, and materials, including portable electrical generated power.

• Housekeeping: Contractor responsible for keeping premises clean, removing debris, scrap, and rubbish daily. Surplus materials and equipment removed upon completion.

• Security: Strict adherence to security regulations, including security clearance for all personnel (within 14 days of notice to proceed), wearing of ID badges, daily check-in lists, and adherence to work hours and emergency procedures. Prohibited items include weapons, drugs, tobacco, alcohol, and unauthorized electronic devices.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Required for all contract employees.

• Materials Storage: Designated secure area, lockable gang box or similar, secured with chain and lock. No storage at heights creating fall hazards. Tools inventoried daily.

• Delivery of Material: Processed and coordinated with COR for temporary storage. Deliveries received between 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Contractor responsible for loading/unloading.

• Dress Code: Jeans permitted; shorts, green or khaki-color clothing not allowed. Clothing must be proper and suitable.

• Smoking: Only in outdoor designated areas.
