- Certification: All Kosher meals must be certified by a nationally accepted Orthodox Kosher agency, and Halal meals by a Halal Certification Agency. Certification letters (dated no more than 11 months prior to quote) are required.
- Packaging: Meals must be in non-metallic, heat-sealed, microwave/oven-safe trays with specific compartment sizes, enclosed in a separate plastic wrapper. Each meal must be marked with the appropriate certification symbol.
- Product Specifications: Strict adherence to ingredient lists, preparation methods, and volume/weight specifications. No substitutions are allowed. Meals can be quoted as frozen and/or shelf-stable.
