Scope of Work
The core requirement is to remove and replace the existing 500 KVA CMS Transformer (HVT-3-TEX) with a new or equal brand name product. The new transformer must be a 500 KVA, 12,470V primary to 208Y/120V secondary, oil-filled unit with a loop feed primary and a 1,600 AMP main breaker. The scope also includes:
- Accommodating medium voltage feed to the VT transformer and a secondary panel.
- Reconnecting a 208-480 step-up transformer.
- Installing load break elbows.
- Furnishing and installing new generators (350 KW, 176 KW, 120 KW, 120 KW, and 100 KW) at various locations.
- Furnishing and installing a new 1600-amp panelboard with specified sub-breakers for CMS, Health Services, Education, and Recreation Yard.
- Providing all necessary engineering, permits, tools, and insurance.
- Removing the old transformer and debris from the site. All work must comply with industry standards, UL, NEC, and applicable Federal, State, and Local codes.
