Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, and services for the preparation and delivery of an estimated 450 FDA-approved F-18 FDG unit doses for the base year. Each dose must contain 10-15 mCi of F-18 FDG at calibration. Deliveries are required directly to the DDEAMC Nuclear Medicine Department at least 30 minutes prior to dose calibration time. The purpose is to support PET imaging for diagnosing and staging cancer, reducing the need for external patient referrals. Key requirements include maintaining a Quality Control Plan, a Contingency Plan, providing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and ensuring contractor personnel comply with security requirements. The contractor must be an FDA-approved radioisotope provider.
