Submission & Evaluation
Quotations must be submitted on the attached Standard Form 1449 and National/Kosher Menu Specifications Quote Sheets, with pricing, item descriptions, and case counts typed. Submission methods include USPS mail, FEDEX/other carrier, or email to dtydlacka@bop.gov and cvalderas@bop.gov. Faxed quotations and photocopies are not accepted. Evaluation will be based on Lowest Price (Technically Acceptable) and Past Performance. A valid kosher certification, dated no more than 11 months prior to the quote date, is mandatory for Kosher Wheat Bread; failure to submit will result in an unacceptable quote.

All contractors must be registered in SAM.gov and include their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number. A sample of the food product may be requested prior to award. Failure to deliver after award may result in being determined a non-responsible contractor.
