To procure one (1) industrial-grade 1030 nm femtosecond fiber laser system for precision micromachining and nonlinear material processing research at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL).

• Supply a complete, fully integrated laser system including:
  • Ytterbium (Yb)-doped femtosecond fiber laser (or equivalent) operating near 1030 nm.
  • Rack-mountable control unit.
  • Separate compact optical head.
  • Interconnecting fiber/umbilical cable (minimum 1.0 meter).
  • All required power supplies, control electronics, safety interlocks, and cabling.
  • User manual and system documentation.
• The system shall be fully assembled, factory tested, and ready for operation upon installation at BNL.

Contract

This document is a contract between Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA) and a Contractor for the supply of one (1) industrial-grade 1030 nm femtosecond fiber laser system. BSA is acting under a Prime Contract with the United States Department of Energy (DOE).
