Purpose & Scope of Work
The objective is to install a comprehensive perimeter security fence system with automated and manual gate access at the CRRL, located at 201 Oklahoma Road, Willard, WA 98605. The scope includes:
- Installation of approximately 1,630 linear feet of 7-foot high black vinyl-coated chain link fencing with barbed wire topping.
- Installation of one 24-foot automated sliding gate with an electronic access control system at the main entrance.
- Installation of two 24-foot manual swinging gates at secondary access points.
- Installation of one heavy-duty pedestrian man gate at the main entrance.
- Site preparation, installation of electronic gate control systems, access control devices, and electrical connections from pre-installed conduit.
- System testing, demonstration, training, and documentation.
Key Requirements & Deliverables
- Fencing: 7-foot high, 9-gauge black vinyl-coated chain link fabric, 2-inch mesh, with specific post and rail dimensions, and three strands of barbed wire.
- Automated Gate: Commercial-grade operator, integrated battery backup, "Yelp" controller, keypad/RFID readers, and two remote controls. No automatic vehicle exit sensor.
- Electrical: Contractor to pull wire through existing conduit, install breaker, terminate connections, and ensure compliance with NEC and local codes. Battery backup for 24 hours of operation.
- Personnel: Electrical scope requires a Washington State licensed, certified general journey-level electrician.
