Sole Source Justification
A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. Prysmian Group holds the technology license from BICC for Blown Fiber products and installation equipment used aboard CVN class ships, making them the only source for MIL-PRF-85045 shipboard-approved blown fiber optic equipment. General Cable Industries is the intended awardee as they hold this license.
