Scope of Work
This is a turnkey installation service to establish a complete, fully operational fiber optic pathway between OPS Demarc Room 1220 and Annex 242B. Key requirements include:
- Installation of two separate 144-count fiber optic cables (OS2 Single Mode and OM3 Multimode) rated for underground use.
- Fusion-spliced LC pigtail termination for all fibers.
- Provision and installation of rack-mounted fiber enclosures and adapter panels.
- Mounting equipment in existing cabinets in Room 1220 and providing new open-frame cabinets in Annex 242B.
- Utilization of existing underground conduit, with verification of usability prior to installation.
- Provision of pull ropes, cable supports, and incidental installation materials.
