Scope of Work
The contractor will provide routine and ad hoc repairs, preventive maintenance, remote support, and occasional upgrades for various film preservation equipment. This includes motion picture film viewing flatbeds, motorized winders, splicers (ultrasonic, cement, tape), synchronizers, and manual rewinders. Services encompass inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and minor repairs. Approximately 44 flatbed and rewind machines, and 200 splicers/synchronizers/rewinds/split reels are covered, with a maximum of 40 equipment items serviced annually. The contractor must supply all necessary tools and equipment. A detailed list of machines and equipment is provided in Attachment J1.
