Purpose & Scope

This requirement is for comprehensive design-build services to replace the existing fire alarm system in Building 2320. The scope includes developing a complete design with specifications and analysis, followed by construction services for demolition, new installation, and commissioning. The new system will be a 100% replacement, including the Addressable Fire Alarm Panel (FAP), Mass Notification System Panel (MNS), and associated devices such as smoke/heat detectors, pull stations, strobes, and tamper switches. The contractor must install "red" conduit/raceway and junction boxes, and provide 8 transmission outputs for MNS pre-recorded messages and 18 customized messages. Design services require 35%, 65%, 95%, and 100% submittals. The contractor must be licensed for Honeywell fire alarm systems and certified by Honeywell and NICET. The building will remain occupied, requiring minimal disruption to Airmen. All procured materials shall be "Made in USA" unless approved.
