Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of various types of portable (ABC/BC/K/CO2) and wheeled (150lb aircraft) fire extinguishers for the 92 MXG at Fairchild AFB. Services must adhere to NFPA 10, NFPA 408, Technical Order 13F4-4-121, and manufacturer specifications. Key tasks include annual inspections, six-year and twelve-year maintenance, hydrostatic testing, and providing computer-generated listings of inspected extinguishers. The contractor must provide all labor, parts, servicing equipment, transportation, disposal, recharge, reclaim, and CO2 conductivity fees. Contractor personnel must be NFPA 10 certified. Repairs are covered up to $25 for portable and $150 for wheeled extinguishers, with a total annual repair parts limit of $15,000.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Firm Fixed-Priced
- Period of Performance: Five years, consisting of a base year and four option years, from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2031.
- Place of Performance: Primarily within 301 W. Arnold St, Building 2050, Fairchild AFB WA 99011. Work requiring specialized equipment may be performed at the contractor's shop.
- Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 0700-1500, excluding federal holidays.

- Safety: Contractor must maintain a safe working environment, comply with OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA standards, and submit a Safety Plan within 20 calendar days of contract award.
- Security: Personnel must comply with Fairchild AFB security regulations, pass background checks, and may require escorts. Identification must be Real ID Act compliant.
- Environmental: Prohibition on Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS).
