Statement of Work (SOW)

To secure a qualified vendor for fire system repairs and regular inspection services for the Selma Transportable Housing Site (THSS) and Selma Manufactured Housing Storage Site (MHSS) in Selma, Alabama. The goal is to ensure all fire safety equipment is properly repaired, tested, and fully operational for emergency use.

CLIN 1 – Repair / Replacement:

• Investigate and repair an underground leak at Fire Hydrant #1.
• Replace a missing sprinkler head.
• Replace a missing Fire Department Connection (FDC) sign.
• Conduct a 5-year internal inspection of Systems #1, #2, and the riser room.
• Replace specific signs at the fire pump house and warehouse.
• Service the fire pump by removing and inspecting the top casing and rotating assembly, replacing parts as needed, and performing a churn test.
• All CLIN 1 work to be completed within 30 days after award.

CLIN 2 - Additional Repair/Replacement (optional - as needed):

• Address any additional repairs identified during CLIN 1 work.
• Requires Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) approval before commencement.
• May include removal and installation of jockey pump, jockey pump controller, and fire pump control panel, requiring a certified electrician.
• May include installation of a new fire hydrant and underground valve.
• All CLIN 2 work to be completed within 30 days after award (if needed).

CLIN 3 – Fire System Inspections:

• Perform regular inspection services after repairs are completed.
• Includes: Quarterly Wet Sprinkler Inspection, Annual Fire Pump Test, Monthly Fire Pump Run Test, Annual Backflow Preventer Inspection and Test, Annual Fire Extinguisher Checks, Annual Fire Hydrant Test/Flush/Lubrication (6 hydrants), and Annual Fire Alarm Test/Inspection (including Fire Pump Churn Test, Zone, Detectors, Pull Stations, and Alarm Panels).
• Reports to COR within 5 days after test or inspection.

CLIN 4 - Any Other Future Maintenance (optional - as needed):

• A fixed dollar amount allocated for future maintenance as needed.

• Base Period: July 28, 2026 – July 27, 2027

• Option Periods: Four additional 1-year periods through July 27, 2031.
