The vendor will perform all work and labor requested on 1SOLRS/LGRV’s 2014 Pierce P-22 fire-engine chassis, reg number 14L00096. Vendor will be expected to source, quote, and replace the engine long block in its entirety with a crate engine long block, or applicable remanufactured long block if a crate engine is not available, sourced from a reputable entity. Remanufactured engine will require supporting documentation, reporting its machined specifications, compression, and any other associated information contained therein. Vendor will be expected to remove serviceable engine accessories and replace those deemed unserviceable once a quote has been generated and submitted to 1SOCONS Contract Manager for approval. Any items not submitted for approval will be rendered non-payable under this contract. All removed components will be re-installed once verified in functional condition and re-sealed to the engine with new gaskets according to manufacturer’s specifications. Vendor will be expected to replace and service all fluid systems and fluids on the vehicle to provide supporting evidence of fluid and filter changes, submit quantities and filter numbers for each system. All systems and components serviced by the vendor will have an applied warranty in the duration of one year (365 days) from Vehicle Managements acceptance date with the warranty period extending to the engine, quoted replaced accessories, and replaced non-wear items.
