Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

The objective of this project is to increase the efficiency of the Refuge Bunkhouse air conditioning system and reduce monthly power bills. The current system is inefficient due to utilizing 100% outside air in humid conditions and is costly to operate. Modifications are needed to prevent mold development and improve efficiency.

• Duct Return Modifications: Modify the duct system to add two return ducts and two registers in common areas. Install an automatic damper in the existing return plenum to reduce outside air intake.
