Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the removal and disposal of outdated or damaged signs and posts (excluding wooden signs and kiosks), followed by the fabrication and installation of new signs. All new signs must comply with the 2024 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and Standard Highway Signs (SHS) for size, color, reflectivity, and font. Signposts must be powder-coated dark brown steel pipes, minimum 2" diameter, meeting USFWS visual identity and environmental standards, and installed with concrete footings. Deliverables include an inventory report of existing signage, specifications for new signs, an installation plan, a final report with GIS data, and 10 replacement signposts. The work is to be performed between March 1, 2026, and July 31, 2026.
