Purpose & Scope
This Sources Sought notice is for market research purposes, not a Request for Quotation (RFQ), and does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The objective is to procure one (1) Pensky-Martins Flash Point Tester PMA 500, essential for determining the flash point of fuels to ensure safety and compliance with Department of War assets standards. The tester must meet ASTM standards (D56/D93/D3828/D7236/IP 160/IP 523/ IP 534), be programmable by the manufacturer, and capable of calibration according to USAF Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory directives and T.O. 42B-1-1. Required inherent services include manufacturer programming prior to delivery and provision of technical data for PMEL with calibration specifications. Delivery will be to MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL. A 3-year manufacturer warranty, contingent on regular scheduled service, is required.
