Scope of Work
The contractor will provide rental of 5,000 lbs capacity, Liquid Propane (LP) driven forklifts suitable for outdoor and limited indoor service. These forklifts are essential for supporting JSSSO-HR warehousing, logistical operations, bulk equipment transfer, on/off loading of delivery vehicles, placement of traffic control barriers (Anti-Terrorism measures), outside facility work, UPS battery/genset movement, and event support.
The scope includes comprehensive maintenance:
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Quarterly Level 1 inspections covering under-hood, interior, exterior, and general checks. Annual services include fuel filter, oil/filter, air filter replacement, and ignition adjustments. Every 600 hours or annually, hydraulic oil replacement, chain tension inspection, and various component checks are required.
- Emergency Repair/Service: On-site response within 72 business hours for unscheduled repairs. The contract specifies a labor and materials limit for urgent repairs, with diagnostic costs covered whether the repair is authorized or not.
- Deliverables: Following each PM inspection, a written report detailing results, hour meter readings, and specific recommendations with cost proposals for remedial actions or upgrades must be provided to the COR and Technical Advisor within 30 calendar days.
