Quick Summary
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the NAF Procurement Office, is conducting a Sources Sought for the Fort Eustis ISP Upgrade Project. This market research aims to identify qualified general contractors capable of upgrading and repairing existing intra-building telecommunications infrastructure (Inside Plant; ISP) at a hotel/motel type business within Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA. Responses are due June 5, 2026.
Purpose & Scope
This notice is for planning purposes only and strictly for market research to determine the availability and capability of qualified businesses. The Government anticipates issuing a solicitation for this design-bid-build project, with 100% design completed, around late June 2026. The scope of work involves enhancing telephone services, internet access, and cable television services through upgrades to inside plant telephone, data, and cable television cabling, as well as communication room improvements.
Submission Requirements
Interested general contractors must submit a capability statement electronically, limited to five pages, which must include a completed Past Performance Questionnaire. The capability statement should provide sufficient detail to demonstrate the organization's qualifications to perform the required work.
Past Performance
Respondents are required to fill out the attached Past Performance Questionnaire, demonstrating recent experience on at least three similar projects. A similar project is defined as one comparable in size, scope, type, and complexity, with a construction value between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, completed within the past three years. References with contact information and project descriptions must be included. Failure to meet these requirements may result in not being invited to participate in the resultant opportunity.
