Scope of Work
This contract requires the fabrication, purchase, and delivery of:
- One (1) custom-fabricated shallow-water aluminum workboat:
- Dimensions: 24-foot LOA, 72-inch bottom width, 96-inch beam.
- Construction: Heavy-gauge 0.190-inch 5086-H116 aluminum hull with a 72-inch advanced tunnel geometry.
- Propulsion: 150 HP EFI four-stroke outboard engine (Mercury or Yamaha), fully rigged with a 6-inch hydraulic jack plate and hydraulic steering.
- Capacity: Accommodate 6-8 occupants.
- Compliance: Must meet all U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) and NMMA safety standards.
- One (1) tandem-axle galvanized steel trailer (5000-5500 lbs. each) with electric-over-hydraulic brakes and 15-inch wheels.
All fabrication and construction will occur at the contractor's facility. Final delivery of the completed package, including comprehensive instruction on operation and characteristics, is required at 113 Randall Creek Road, Pickstown, SD 57367.
Contract & Timeline

Separate, secondary bids for value-engineered alternatives or comparable structural designs are encouraged, provided they are clearly identified with detailed engineering rationale. A separate line-item charge for delivery to Pickstown, SD, is requested.

Notes
The solicitation package includes an Unabridged Detailed Specification, a Condensed Specification Summary, and Appendix A: Visual Reference Drawings & Examples. The Unabridged Detailed Specification governs in case of discrepancies. Photos of ongoing construction must be submitted to the contracting officer's representative. Payment will be made within 30 days following delivery and acceptance.
