• Technical Requirements: Technical requirements from a previous sewer project (Volume 1 and Volume 2) have been clarified or removed as they are not applicable to this life safety project. This was addressed in Amendment 0001.
• Award Intent & Period of Acceptance: The government intends to award the project. The period for acceptance of offers has been extended to 60 days (addressed in Amendment 0001), not 180 days as initially questioned, to balance pricing validity with project duration.
• Hazardous Materials: There are no known hazardous materials associated with this project.
• Infill Patch Material: The facility does not have extra rubber base for infill patches; the nearest matching base will require CO approval.
• Wall Finish: The intent is to match the existing heavy texture on both sides of the wall to the highest degree possible for level 4 finish.
• Wall Construction: Contractor verification is required to confirm wall construction materials (drywall/mud on theater side, potentially plaster/stucco on hallway side).
• Control Joint: The control joint above the door infill should be continued to the floor.
• Classroom Obstructions: Fire alarm strobe, blank cover, and outlets in the classroom wall will need to be addressed. The fire alarm strobe and horn are GENTEX, and the panel is Radionics (Bosch).
• Dining Hall Tile: The facility does not have extra floor tiles for the dining hall; damage to existing tile during turnstile gate installation is a risk.
• Office/Classroom Base: Rubber base will be included on the constructed wall in the office/classroom, with the color subject to CO approval.
