Submission & Evaluation
Quotes must be submitted via email only to Ashley Tabor (atabor@bop.gov). Late quotes will not be considered. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and include their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) in their quotes. Quotes must be valid for 30 calendar days after the close date, and all quoted prices must be expressed with no more than two decimal points.
Evaluation will be based on price (fair and reasonable) and past performance (Go/No-Go for timeliness of deliveries and order accuracy/completeness). Delivery Requirements
Deliveries require pre-arrangement with the receiving warehouse and must be fully palletized for immediate offloading. Strict temperature controls apply: perishable foods 34-41°F, canned goods above 34°F (not frozen), and frozen foods 0°F or below. Items showing signs of thawing or failing to meet specifications will be refused. Certified religious diet items must be marked with a Kosher Symbol. Unacceptable items must be picked up by the vendor within two weeks or will be disposed of.
