Scope of Work
This combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ) is for the supply-only of a new Air-Cooled Scroll Chiller. The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing all equipment and materials necessary to replace the existing system. The proposed unit must meet or be equivalent to the detailed specifications provided in the Statement of Work.
Key Requirements
The required Air-Cooled Scroll Chiller must include a Shell and Tube Evaporator and meet specific performance and feature criteria:
- Performance: EER up to 10.9, IPLV up to 19.0, ASHRAE 90.1-2019/2022 compliant, and AHRI certified.
- Electrical: 460V/3-phase/60 Hz electrical supply.
- Refrigerant: R-32 type.
- Operation: Capable of operating from -20°F to 125°F ambient conditions.
- Features: BACnet IP & MS/TP compatibility, control panel display, high efficiency variable condenser fans, bare micro-channel condenser coils, evaporator heater, hot gas bypass, suction line insulation, suction service valve, single point power connection, coil trim panels, and low sound-compressor blankets.
- Services: Factory start-up is required.
- Warranty: A one-year warranty from start-up or 18 months from the date of shipment is mandatory.
