Technical Requirements & Documentation

Contractors must comply with specified document revisions and obtain written approval for any deviations. Requests for waivers or deviations must be submitted in advance with justification and an offer of consideration.
Quality & Packaging
Contractors must maintain an inspection system acceptable to the Government. Packaging requirements include MIL-PRF-23199 and MIL-DTL-24466 for cleanliness controls, with MIL-STD 2073 also applicable. Fire retardant packaging material is no longer required.
Submission & Notes
Offerors must submit a Certificate of Compliance (DI-MISC-81356) at the time of material delivery for each unique combination of Contract/Purchase Order Number, National Stock Number, and Item Nomenclature.
