Scope of Work
This project involves the construction of a comprehensive Air Traffic Control Tower. It also encompasses the control tower cab and Army Radar Approach Control functional space.
The design requires special foundations, backup power generation with an uninterruptable power supply, Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems, Building Control Systems (BCS), and Electronic Security Systems (ESS). Energy Monitoring and Control Systems (EMCS) connection will be provided if applicable. The facility must provide access for individuals with disabilities up to the tenth floor and incorporate antiterrorism measures in accordance with DoD standards (UFC 4-010-01), with additional measures requested for this critical asset. Supporting facilities include paving, walks, parking, lighting, and site improvements. Comprehensive interior design and furnishings are required, with heating and air conditioning provided by a self-contained system. The facility will be designed for a minimum life of 40 years.
