This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for constructing a 40-foot by 60-foot prefabricated metal building at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

• Furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, tools, and supplies for the complete construction of the building.

• Includes demolition of an existing tree and approximately 70 feet of concrete curb and gutter.

• Construction of a 40'x60' prefabricated metal building with a Portland Cement concrete slab, footings, doors, spray foam insulation, electrical lighting and power, electrical heating, concrete building approaches, sidewalks, and an entrance drive.

• Specific details for demolition, new construction (including stamped engineering drawings, site preparation, compaction, concrete work, building approaches, sidewalks, driveways, and bollards), prefabricated metal building specifications (dimensions, building codes, loads, sheets, trim, doors, and openings), spray-foam insulation, and electrical systems are provided.

• Building must meet or exceed specified design requirements, including footprint, eave height, roof slope, frame type, and building codes (IBC'18).

• Concrete strength: 4,000 psi.

• Slab thickness: 6-inches minimum.

• Aggregate base thickness: 6-inches minimum.

• Positive drainage of 2% grade away from the building.

• Insulation R-values: Walls R-14 (2" thick), Roof R-21 (3" thick).

• Electrical systems to comply with specified panel and wiring requirements.

• Unit heaters to maintain a minimum indoor air temperature of 45°F.

• Fire extinguishers required per NFPA 10.

• Location: Vance Air Force Base, Facility 5067, Northeast of the intersection of Conway Street and Macchi Avenue, Enid, Oklahoma.

• Total Period of Performance: 165 calendar days.

  • Non-Performance Period: Up to 45 calendar days for mobilization and material lead time.
  • Performance Period: 120 calendar days.

• Contractor shall field verify location and dimensions before commencing work.

• All materials must meet the Buy American Act.

• Submittals (shop drawings, product data, SDS, etc.) are required for ASRC Construction Management approval prior to purchasing or construction.

• Contractor shall provide a standard 1-year warranty for all labor and material.

• Compliance with safety standards (DAFMAN 91-203, OSHA 1926) is required.

• Contractor must coordinate all requests for entry to the airfield or Air Force control/restricted areas.

• Normal working hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Extended hours require written request and approval.

• Contractor personnel must comply with Installation Security Requirements.

• Contractor must provide a Superintendent and Quality Control representative with specified experience.

• Utilities (electric power, water) will be made available at ASRC Construction Management's discretion.

• Contractor must provide their own latrines.

• Waste materials are the property of the Contractor and must be disposed of legally off Vance AFB.

• Recyclable materials must be taken to an approved recycling center.

• Prohibited materials include those containing mercury, toluene, chlorinated solvents, etc., and Class 1 Ozone Depleting Chemicals.

• Final clean-up to preconstruction conditions or better is required.
