Statement of Work (SOW)

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for furnishing and installing Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) compliant doors, associated hardware, and related components at Facility 171, Life Support, Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

• Demolition: Removal of two existing sets of double-leaf doors, door frames, thresholds, and hardware.

• New Construction: Installation of two sets of double-leaf doors (one exterior vestibule set, one interior set) compliant with ABA standards. This includes:

  • New door frames.
  • Solid core aluminum double-leaf doors with vision panels and panic rods.
  • Two single-function square control pushbuttons (one exterior, one interior).
  • Two dual-function square control pushbuttons with directional arrows (inside vestibule).
  • Electric swing mechanisms.
  • Thresholds.
  • Required hardware.
  • Appropriately sized electrical conduit and wire adhering to NEC standards.
  • Touch-up paint after installation.

• Site Preparation: Maintaining clean work areas, protecting government property, and providing temporary construction fencing.
