The Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, materials, and consumables required to remove designated items from the Romano Mazzoli Federal Building (RMFB). The Contractor is responsible for dismantling and removing the designated items, ensuring the offices are left in a broom-swept condition upon completion of the work.
The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to dismantle and remove furniture in a manner that minimizes the risk of damage to the building. All work areas must be thoroughly cleaned, including the removal of debris, tools, and equipment used during the process.
The Contractor is required to dispose of or donate all items removed from the Romano Mazzoli Federal Building in a responsible manner. Under no circumstances shall the Contractor sell or profit from any items removed from the building.
The Contractor will ensure environmentally responsible disposal practices, prioritizing the recycling and donation of usable furniture. Any remaining furniture shall be disposed of at authorized facilities in compliance with applicable regulations.
The Contractor shall not profit in any way from the disposal of furniture from the Romano Mazzoli Federal Building, including but not limited to compensation, reimbursement, or trade resulting from its disposal, recycling, scrapping, or salvaging.
The Contractor is required to track and report all furniture removed, providing an accurate accounting of the amount and type of furniture disposed of, repurposed, or recycled. Weekly progress reports detailing the status and quantities of items disposed of, recycled, or donated must be submitted to the USACE point of contact. A final walk-through with the USACE Point
of Contact will be coordinated to ensure the space at 600 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Place is
cleared and ready for turnover to building management
Additionally, the Contractor shall submit a Certificate of Disposal certifying that all furniture removed from the Romano Mazzoli Federal Building has been handled in accordance with the terms of the contract, including proper disposal or donation and non-commercial use.
Prices should include mobilization & de-mobilization, fuel, labor, material and equipment The contractor’s work and responsibility shall include all planning, programming, administration, management, supervision, communications and inspection necessary to
assure that all work is conducted in accordance with the contract requirements and all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms and conditions
incorporated herein.
All work shall be completed no later than 30 days of contract award.
