Scope of Work
The Air Force requires vendors to demonstrate capability in:
- Manufacturing three (3) embedded fuze assemblies compatible with MLU-64B/B, MLU-65/B, or equivalent systems, with a cable length of approximately 23-27 feet.
- Providing test execution support for two (2) static detonation tests using live warheads and associated Electronic Safe and Arm Modules (ESAMs).
- Delivering fuze systems to McAlester Army Ammunition Plant no later than April 2027.
- Ensuring fuze systems are certified by a Department of War test range safety office for ground testing of live warheads and for road transportation, including all hardware required for remote detonation.
- Providing a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost.

Submission Requirements
Interested vendors must submit a brief and concise capabilities statement, not exceeding 10 single-spaced, 10-point font pages (excluding cover page, table of contents, or acronym lists). Submissions must be sent electronically to Mandi Johnson, Christy Cross, and Christalyn Springs, with the email subject line "Fuze Procurement." Accepted file formats are .pdf, .docx, and .xlsx.
Eligibility & Evaluation
Respondents should indicate their company's size and socio-economic status (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, EDWOSB, WOSB, SDVOSB). All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The Government will use responses to determine potential small business participation and overall industry capability.
