Scope of Work
The requirement is for the purchase and installation of new Cisco network hardware to facilitate the migration from an AT&T to a Lumens data circuit at the USNPRC. The objective is to transition IT equipment to the new circuit while minimizing downtime for research operations. The scope includes the procurement of 17 specific Cisco Network Switches, Network Modules, and associated equipment, such as Catalyst 9300/9500 series modules, DNA licenses, and power cords. Devices will be configured by the Customer Experience Center (CEC) and deployed by the SEA IT Project Manager with local IT staff assistance. Local IT will also coordinate installation with NOC staff upon successful shipment receipt. All procured devices must provide network connectivity to the USDA Network via the new Lumens data service and adhere strictly to the provided hardware list.
