Scope of Work
The requirement is for two (2) commercial APMs located in Alameda, CA, to provide Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) logistical support for planned and emergency repairs of Coast Guard cutters. This includes engineering guidance and support for maintenance and repair contracts and emergent equipment casualties. Key tasks involve:
- Depot level maintenance planning, execution, and casualty support for various shipboard systems.
- Work identification, planning, specification development, and project closeout.
- Technical review of Condition Found Reports and developing procurement requests.
- Participating in planning teams and developing technical statements of work for ship repair.
- Reviewing maintenance standards and maintaining cutter maintenance records.
- Performing market research for parts and services, and tracking engine hours.
Personnel must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical publications, and access small shipboard spaces.

Additional Notes
- Personnel Requirements: Resumes are required for Coast Guard approval. Selected candidates will undergo a background investigation. All on-site personnel are considered Key Personnel.
- Reporting: Monthly Progress Reports detailing activities, expenditures, and schedules are required.
- Travel: Expected as part of the task, with costs reimbursed per Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) with COR approval.
- Government Furnished Property: Workspace, equipment, supplies, and access to data/information systems will be provided.
- Contractor Furnished Property: Contractor must furnish all other necessary facilities, equipment, and items.
- Quality Assurance: Contractor must establish and maintain a QA program.
