Description(s):
This procurement provides for the design, development, build and integration of large diameter rocket motors, associated missile body flight articles, and related support equipment for Navy IRCPS flight test demonstrations. Pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), the Government intends to conduct negotiations with Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMC), Lockheed Martin Space (LMS) (Cage Code: 04236). Primary work locations are Denver, CO, and Huntsville, AL. The latest delivery date for H/W will be approximately August 2031; the period of performance for associated technical engineering services will be approximately from contract award through February 2029.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS.
The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses must be received within fifteen days from the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
