Scope of Work

This opportunity involves the procurement of COVID-19 Adult Vaccines (for individuals aged 19 years and older). The vaccines are intended for use by the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Disease’s (NCIRD’s) immunization awardees, including state health departments, city programs, and U.S. Territories, to support adult immunization programs under Section 317(j) of the Public Health Service Act. Awardees may also purchase additional quantities using state and local funds.

Key Requirements & Deliverables

  • Supplies: FDA-approved COVID-19 Adult Vaccines with a minimum 12-month shelf life upon delivery.
  • Packaging: Must maintain FDA recommended temperatures during transit, with an electronic temperature monitoring device per shipment.
  • Manufacturing: Vaccines must be manufactured under a current FDA establishment and product license, compliant with Current Good Manufacturing Practice Regulations (CGMPRs).
  • Delivery: Within 15 working days after receipt of order to designated CDC centralized distribution locations (Olive Branch, MS and Clermont, KY) or specific CDC Occupational Health Clinic locations.
  • Systems: Offerors must be able to interface with the Vaccine Tracking System (VTrckS) for ordering and ensure shipments are compliant with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).
  • Agreement: An Authorized Distributor of Record (ADR) Agreement (Attachment D-1) is required.
