Scope of Work
The contracted Catholic Priest will provide religious/spiritual leadership and services to meet the needs of Catholic military personnel, their dependents, and other authorized personnel assigned to Joint Base Charleston (including the Air Base Wing, Naval Weapons Station, and Brig). Services are required during periods of the Senior Civilian Catholic Priest's absence, working in conjunction with them. All responsibilities must align with Department of Air Force Instructions (AFI), Major Command (MAJCOM) supplements, and JB Charleston Operating Instructions (OI).

Evaluation
This is a notice of intent to award a single-source contract under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). While not a request for competitive quotes, responsible sources may submit a quotation. Such submissions will be considered by the agency for the establishment of additional BPAs. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses is at their discretion. Information received will primarily determine if competitive procurement is feasible.
Additional Notes
Any entity submitting a quote MUST be approved by the local Charleston Diocese and be able to perform services in accordance with DoDI 1304.28. The United Armed Services must use the applicable nearest local Catholic Diocese per DoDI 1304.28. The Government will continue to survey the market for authorized service providers for future requirements, but only the Charleston Diocese can approve individuals for Catholic Priest duties in this area.
