Scope of Work
The requirement is for the lease of one FDA-approved Hematology Analyzer, including installation and comprehensive support. Key specifications include:
- Equipment: FDA-approved, capable of bidirectional interface with existing LIS and CHCS, Windows-based software, and fitting within an 18"x26" countertop space. Must have automatic reagent expiration tracking, on-board user manuals, and use a single probe for automated/manual sampling. Reagents and calibrators must be ready-to-use with 2D bar-coded labels.
- Performance: Minimum throughput of 40 tests/hour, lower linearity down to 0 for WBC, RBC, and Platelet, and capable of full hematology tests with as little as 25 µL sample. On-board software must store 2 years of quality control data with Levey Jennings charts and include patient moving averages (Xbar).
- Test Menu: Complete Blood Count (4500/year) including WBC, RBC, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, PLATELET COUNT, RDW, MPV, NEUT%, LYMPH%, MONO%, EOS%, BASO%, NEUT#, LYMPH#, MONO#, EOS#, BASO#.
- Support: Service and technical support during business hours (8 AM - 4 PM CST) with 24-hour on-site service. Includes semiannual and as-needed preventive maintenance, calibration, and free replacement of defective parts/software.
- Upgrades & Training: Software/hardware upgrades at no cost. Off-site training for two key operators in the first year (including travel/lodging) and additional on-site training as needed.
- Installation Studies: Vendor to perform correlation, precision, linearity, and other installation studies, providing all necessary materials.
- Pricing: Bid must include cost per reportable pricing covering equipment, service, reagents, quality control, training, and consumables.
