Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This document outlines the requirements for Vegetation Management Services, specifically herbicide application, for the Pomme de Terre Dam & Project.

• The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supplies, insurance, supervision, and fuel necessary for vegetation management services.

• Services include applying herbicides to control vegetation in various areas such as recreation areas, administrative areas, spillways, dike/dam, rock stockpiles, rip rap areas, sewage lagoons, and parks.

• Specific performance standards include achieving at least 98% vegetation-free control in most areas and 99% in sewage lagoons.

• The work is to be performed annually from April 1 through September 30.

• The contract includes one Base Year (April 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027) and two 12-month option years.

• Performance will occur at various areas under the responsibility of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pomme de Terre Lake Project Office.

• Contractors must be certified commercial applicators in Missouri (Category 3 and Category 5).

• Use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) or aircraft for herbicide application is optional and subject to strict conditions and approvals.

• The contractor must provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals used.

• A Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) will be used to evaluate performance.

• The contractor must develop and maintain a quality control program.
