FY26 Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) Detection, Identification and Tracking Equipment

Sources Sought Synopsis

This document is a sources sought synopsis from the 42nd Contracting Squadron, Maxwell Air Force Base, AL. The government is seeking information from industry sources that can lease a system for the detection, identification, and tracking of small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) operating on or near Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex. This is not a solicitation, and the government does not intend to award a contract based on this notice.

1. General Information:

   • Company name, address, point of contact details.
   • Type of business (e.g., small, large, Hub Zone) and relevant identifiers (NAICS code 334511, CAGE Code, Unique Entity ID).
   • NAICS code under which the company typically provides these requirements, with rationale if different from 334511.
   • Description of customary commercial contract terms that could enhance contract effectiveness.

2. Capabilities:

   • Confirmation of capability to provide a system for sUAS detection, identification, and tracking that integrates with the current AeroDefense system at Maxwell AFB.
   • If capable, provide no more than two recent and relevant contracts (within the last 3 years) with details (name, address, POC, description, contract number, value, period of performance).
   • If capable, provide proof of capability (e.g., price estimate, price schedule).

Respondents are asked to review the attached Statement of Work (SOW), specifically paragraphs 1.0-7.0, and provide manufacturer specifications or product literature demonstrating how their system meets these requirements.

Statement of Requirement (SOR)

To procure services for a detection, identification, and tracking system to analyze small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) operating on or near Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex.

• One (1) sUAS detection, identification, and tracking data service lease (Annual):
  • Provide graphical user interface for sUAS and pilot data.
  • Deliver real-time actionable intelligence on sUAS and pilot via a single-pane common operating picture.
  • Record pertinent sUAS and pilot data (type, location, speed, altitude, operator ID, etc.).
  • Provide access to historical data for a minimum of 30 days.
  • Accessible on Government-Owned Desktop Workstations via LTE network.
  • Compatible with existing sUAS Remote ID Receiver.
  • Requires vendor-provided software updates and maintenance or by a certified on-site technician.
  • Must fully integrate with the current AeroDefense system at Maxwell AFB.
• Two (2) sUAS Alert/Detection Zone Subscriptions (Annual):
  • Provide detection, tracking, and identification for FAA registered and non-registered sUAS operations on Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex, and a minimum of 400 feet above ground level.
  • Capabilities for both bases from one monitoring point/operator via single-sign on.
  • Includes installation and calibration on Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex.
  • Accessible on Government-Owned Desktop Workstations.
  • Requires vendor-provided software updates and maintenance or by a certified on-site technician.
