• Supplier Requirements: Must deliver articles compliant with original design and manufacturing requirements. Concessions require written authorization.
• Record Retention: Material test reports, processing, overhaul, repair, and inspection results must be retained for at least 10 years.
• Article Identification: For each article, suppliers must identify the manufacturer's part number, heat/batch/serial number, manufacturer's name and address, proof of serviceability, FAA PMA or TSO authorization, FAA Form 8130-3 (if applicable), and implementation status of FAA Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins. Components with shelf life must have expiration dates identified.
• Quality Management: Prime Suppliers must ensure competent personnel handle aircraft parts and must have or ensure their Sub-Tier Suppliers have a quality management system (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
• Monitoring: NASA AFRC will monitor performance via systems like SAS, GIDEP, and ERAI.
• Record Keeping: Contractor records must be retained per FAR subpart 4.7.

To procure one (1) additional LaserRef II unit for the Airborne Science Program to serve as a spare. This unit will provide critical flight path data (position, attitude, heading) and act as a primary navigation source. These units are intended for spare parts kits and not for Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations.
