• The facility must be maintained by the contractor and meet various local, state, and federal standards.

• Contractor personnel require background investigations.

• The contractor must comply with confidentiality regulations (38 USC 4132, 42 CFR Part II).

• The contractor must provide a drug and alcohol-free setting.

• The facility must meet fire safety requirements, including NFPA 101.

• The VA reserves the right to inspect the facility and records.

• Contract changes must be authorized by the Contracting Officer.

• Government surveillance will be conducted through direct observation, periodic inspections, and progress meetings.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is for residential community-based housing services for homeless veterans in Alexandria, Louisiana. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires contractors to provide housing, including room and board, transportation, and therapeutic rehabilitation and recovery services.
