Scope of Work
The project involves storm sewer repairs at two primary locations:
- Repair Area 1 (Green and Water Street intersection): Construction of a new manhole at the intersection of an existing pressurized sewer line and the City-owned 30-inch storm sewer line.
- Repair Area 2 (Hill and Water Street intersection): Connection between City-owned structure MH-86 and Corps-owned structure MH-89 using a new 24-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) storm main. The existing brick MH-86 will be removed and replaced with a standard concrete manhole.
At both repair areas, the Corps-owned pressurized storm line will be abandoned and filled with grout from the headwall to the new work. Additionally, two damaged headwalls will be removed. Work is expected to occur on public roads and city sewer easements.
