• Employee Experience: Current position/title and years of experience for each employee performing the work.
• Certifications/Licenses: Vendors must provide certificates for specified areas (e.g., First Aid/CPR, Fall Protection, Crane Operator, Electrician, HVAC) or a plan for obtaining them. Submissions with certifications are rated higher.
• Subcontractor Information: If applicable, the name, POC, and location of any subcontractors must be provided. Teaming arrangements must be documented.
• References: Three (3) references for past performance within the last three (3) years, similar in nature, size, and complexity to the scope of work. Government contracts are preferred. Past performance of subcontractors will only be considered if a suitable teaming arrangement is provided.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the installation of high-efficiency infrared low-intensity propane tube heaters and a propane tank at the Thomaston Dam garage building in Thomaston, CT. The project involves furnishing all equipment, materials, and labor for the installation of three (3) 40,000 BTU heaters and one (1) 300-gallon propane tank with a concrete pad and protective barrier.

• Installation of three (3) suspended two-stage high-efficiency infra-red tube heaters (40,000 BTU each).

• Installation and filling of one (1) 300-gallon propane tank, including a concrete tank pad and protective barrier.

• All work must comply with the Statement of Work (SOW), local, state, and federal laws, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Safety and Occupational Health Requirements (EM 385-1-1).

• Specific requirements for electrical work, plumbing, venting, propane tank installation, and protective bollards.

• Contract Period of Performance: 180 days from contract award.

• Estimated cost: Between $25,000 and $100,000.

• Pricing Arrangement: Firm Fixed Price.

• Quotes must be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist.
