Statement of Work (SOW)

To remove and replace the deficient gas line and meter at the General Grant National Memorial to satisfy ConEd requirements for restoring gas service.

• Provide all personnel, services, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for the project.

• Disconnect and remove the existing gas line and meter.

• Install and connect a new gas line and meter.

• Remove all plumbing components from the building upon completion.

• Ensure the work area is left broom clean.

• Coordinate with ConEd for final inspection and restoration of gas service.

• Location: General Grant National Memorial, West 122nd St. and Riverside Dr., New York City.

• Delivery Schedule: Work to be completed within 14 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

• Work Hours: Regular business hours (8am – 3:30pm, Monday - Friday), unless otherwise approved.

• All work must comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as ConEd requirements.

• Work must be completed by a licensed New York City master plumber certified by ConEd for gas work.

• Implement appropriate safety measures, including lock-out/tag-out, and comply with OSHA standards.

• Minimize environmental impact (emissions, pollution, noise, dust, odor).

• Prevent damage to surroundings and facilities; repair any accidental disruptions at no cost to NPS.

• Construction debris must be removed from the park and disposed of off-site.

• Visitor areas must remain free of construction equipment, materials, or debris.

• Any cost overruns require pre-approval from the Contracting Officer.

• Work must pass ConEd and NYC DOB inspections.

• Gas line must be restored to full operational status without leaks.
