Scope of Work
NAVAIR seeks firms that can manufacture the GAU-24/A machine gun in accordance with a Government-owned Technical Data Package (TDP). The GAU-24/A is intended as a common replacement for M134-based weapons across the Department of War. Key requirements include:
- Manufacturing: Produce GAU-24/A per Government-Furnished TDP, demonstrating a Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) of 8.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to strict quality control standards to ensure compliance with TDP and military specifications.
- Delivery: Deliver an initial five (5) units to NSWC Crane Indiana within 12 months post-contract award. Production facilities must support a minimum of ten (10) additional units per year.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support during production as needed. The TDP will be provided upon request, subject to export control regulations, requiring necessary certifications and clearances for access.

Eligibility & Submittal Information
Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond. Interested parties must submit a Capability Statement package (maximum 10 pages, Times New Roman 12-point font, single-spaced) electronically to Brittoney Green (brittoney.k.green.civ@us.navy.mil). The statement must include:
- Basic Company Information (Notice number, Company Name, Address, CAGE, DUNS, POCs).
- Company Profile (employees, revenue, business size status).
- Past Performance and Corporate Experience (similar efforts within 3 years, contract details).
- Technical and Manufacturing Capabilities (experience with TDPs, ability to produce GAU-24/A, facilities, equipment, personnel, quality certifications, titanium molding experience).
- Cybersecurity (ability to handle and protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) per DFARS 252.204-7012).
