Scope of Work
The primary requirement is for one (1) New Val-Matic Model #9708XD or Equal Tilted Disc Check Valve. The valve must adhere to specific salient characteristics, including:
- 8-inch size, tilted disc design
- Cast iron body, aluminum bronze disc & trim
- ANSI Class 250# flanged
- Certified NSF 372 Lead Free and NSF 61 for Drinking Water
- Test Pressure 600 PSI
- Build America, Buy America (BABA) compliant and meets AWWA C508 Requirements
- Must have the same bolt pattern as the existing valve and no steam rating.
All shipping costs to Fairchild AFB, WA, must be included in the contractor's quote. Delivery is expected within a specified number of Actual Days from Contract Award (ADC), with the vendor providing the lead time. Contractors must also adhere to Air Force Specific Terms and Conditions, including restrictions on Class I Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) and base access protocols.
