The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision for the preventive maintenance of four (4) Caterpillar/Cummins generators located at Buildings 1020, 1030, 1030C, and 1040 at Edwards AFB. Services include:
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) Levels 1, 2, and 3: Annual multi-point inspections, major annual services (oil, filters), and cooling system services (every 36 months).
- Annual Loadbank Testing: 2-hour test at various load percentages.
- Engine/Generator Inspection and Adjustment: Every 36 months, including valve adjustments and bearing inspections.
- Engine Battery Replacement Program: Every 36 months.
- One-time Emergency Service: Replacement of a leaking coolant tube casting for the B1030 generator (CATERPILLAR Model 3516C). Personnel must be experienced, qualified U.S. citizens, subject to background checks, and comply with environmental and OPSEC requirements.
