Eligibility & Submission
This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5). The 50 CONS is seeking capability packages from small businesses, including 8(a), HUBZone, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) small businesses, capable of performing this work as a prime contractor. Interested parties must demonstrate:
- Technical capability and relevant experience in large-scale mechanical projects.
- Ability to manage procurement and installation of OEM-specified equipment.
- Ability to provide a 10-year, OEM-backed (Trane-backed) warranty for parts and labor.
- A plan for accountability and risk mitigation to ensure zero operational downtime during the warranty period.
- Authorized access to Trane's proprietary software and service bulletins.
- At least two project examples of similar size and complexity (900-ton+ centrifugal chillers as prime contractor).
Submissions should be a capabilities package, not exceeding ten (10) pages, sent electronically to the provided points of contact. All prospective contractors must be registered in SAM.gov.
