Scope of Work
NIST requires one (1) glove box designed for a controlled environment, free from ambient molecular and particulate contamination, to produce UPW0. Key technical specifications include:
- Minimum of 4 feedthroughs for UPW feed and drain.
- 120 V AC power supply (4+ ports) and light inside the chamber.
- Capable of purging using an FTIR purge gas generator (e.g., Parker Spectra 15) with < 1 ppm CO2 and dew point ≤ -73 °C.
- Online CO2 monitor with ± 1 µmol mol-1 (ppm) resolution.
- Automatic atmosphere cycling (purge and pressure adjustment).
- 2 glove ports with butyl rubber or lower gas permeability gloves.
- 120 V, 60 Hz AC power.
- Stand with locking casters.
- Vacuum source.
