Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To maintain driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots at Manchester Ranger District administrative sites by removing snow and ice accumulation, ensuring safe access for vehicles and pedestrians during the winter season.

• Provide all resources for snow and ice removal using contractor's choice of machinery and hand tools.

• Clear snow from driveways, parking areas, and sidewalks to facility points of egress, including entryways, emergency exits, and garage bay doors.

• Apply anti-skid materials as needed on paved surfaces.

• Remove plowed snow accumulations exceeding 5 cubic yards from administrative sites.

• Ensure snow is not piled in a manner that hinders access to equipment or vehicles.

• Snow clearing required at 3-inch accumulation.

• Clearing to be completed before 0700 EST for Manchester Ranger Station and 0800 EST for Mount Tabor Work Center if snow occurs overnight.

• De-icing material application requested by Forest Service contract representative.

• Period of Performance: Base year from Date of Award through December 31, 2026, with four (4) option years.

• Place of Performance: Manchester Ranger Station (2538 Depot Street, Manchester Center, VT) and Mount Tabor Work Center (382 Brooklyn Road, Mount Tabor, VT).

• Post-award kickoff meeting required within ten business days of award.

• Contractor must provide a designated contract representative with full authority.

• Work must be performed by technically qualified personnel.
